James Crawford

Crawford, James Stephens ?Steve?, age 83, of South Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2007. He was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church, where he was an Elder Emeritus and a choir member. Preceded in death by parents, Dennis and Mattie Crawford. Wife of 42 years, Ruth Crawford; sons, James Stephens Crawford, Jr., Michael Bruce Crawford; special family friend, Misti Harding; brother, Robert L. Crawford; sister, Loretta Pelton; brothers-in-law, Earl and wife, Kate McColloch, Robert and wife, Connie McColloch; sister-in-law, Martha and husband, Charlie Liggett; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, Graystone Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. Larry Hitchens officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
