Thelma D. Walker

Thelma D. Walker, age 88 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007, at the Sevier County Health Care Center. She was a resident of Chattanooga for over 65 years before moving to Sevierville to be with her son and daughter. She was a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Upon moving to Sevierville, she transferred her membership to First United Methodist of Sevierville. Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 48 years Watson Alley Walker of Chattanooga, parents Richard C. and Bertha Davis, brothers Charles “Charlie” C. Davis, Raymond Davis, and sister Marie Goodwin Noah. Survivors include her: Son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Schley Walker Daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and James Huskey Grandchildren: Matthew Walker, Brandi Walker Bright, Kelli Huskey Moore, Leslie Huskey 2 Great-grandchildren Special niece and her husband: Joyce and Henry Dixon of Birmingham, AL Nieces and their husbands: Jean and Gene Prawd of Chattanooga, Linda and Frank Pitner of Signal Mtn. along with several other nieces and nephews Special thanks to the staff of the Sevier County Health Care Center who took care of her needs while there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sevier County Food Ministries, P.O. Box 6042, Sevierville, TN 37864.
