Cora Lucille Proffitt Whaley Kelley, age 78 of Sevierville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2007. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brothers Benjamin and Lloyd Proffitt, parents George and Lura Proffitt, and husbands Homer Thomas Whaley and Henry C. Kelley. Survivors include her: Sons: Kenneth Pleas Whaley and Johnny Dean Whaley Grandchildren: Kenneth Austin and Matthew Thomas Whaley Brother and sister-in-law: Pleas F. and Louise Proffitt Several nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, DAV Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250—0301. Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Wednesday in Whaley Springs Cemetery on Gists Creek Road for interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
