Thomas, Milton F., born February 28, 1923 , formerly of Knoxville, died peacefully at his home in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, September 29, 2006. Member of Stock Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Veteran of World War II serving in the US Army and a 32nd Degree Mason. Preceded in death by, mother, Flossie Jane Thomas and father, Sam Thomas. 5 Siblings and one daughter. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Zora E. Thomas. Children: James F. Thomas and Maria Beth Porter. 9 Grandchildren. 14 Great-grandchildren. 1 great- great grandchild. Graveside service 9:30 AM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors and Rev. Gene Wood officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stock Creek Baptist Church building fund. 8106 Martin Mill Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
