Milton F. Thomas

Thomas, Milton F., born February 28, 1923 , formerly of Knoxville, died peacefully at his home in Cedar Hill, Tennessee, September 29, 2006. Member of Stock Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Veteran of World War II serving in the US Army and a 32nd Degree Mason. Preceded in death by, mother, Flossie Jane Thomas and father, Sam Thomas. 5 Siblings and one daughter. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Zora E. Thomas. Children: James F. Thomas and Maria Beth Porter. 9 Grandchildren. 14 Great-grandchildren. 1 great- great grandchild. Graveside service 9:30 AM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery with full Military Honors and Rev. Gene Wood officiating.
