Robert John ''Jack'' Fagan

Robert John (Jack) Fagan, of Sevierville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006. Jack was born in Springfield, Illinois on February 18, 1961, to Barbara Jane (BJ) Fagan Croonquist and the late J. Donald Fagan. Jack had many talents. He loved nature, sunrises, sunsets and his beautiful mountains, both in Tennessee and Arizona. He had a great sense of humor and kept people laughing - often at himself. He loved music and sang with the youth choir at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Springfield, as a young boy, and also was a junior deacon there. He was an avid sports fan all his life, and was a very successful television and radio sports producer in the Twin Cities (MN). He remained true to his beloved St. Louis Cardinals all his life - agonizing with their defeats and celebrating with their victories. Jack loved his family, friends, and animals of all descriptions, especially dogs - and sorrowed greatly when he lost his ''best friend,'' Irwin, a dachschund, a few years ago. Jack loved the Lord, and we rejoice that he has found eternal peace with Him. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved father, two beloved cousins, and most recently his step-dad, David Croonquist, and his adored Aunt Margie.Haig (whom he called ''Auntie 'M' ''). He is survived by his mom, BJ, his brother, Bill and wife, Laura, nephew, J.D. Fagan and niece, Alissa Fagan, his aunt, Judy Ertz and husband, Richard, and cousin, Janet DeGonda and husband, Jim and family, as well as several other cousins. Jack's warm, friendly, and caring manner will be missed greatly by all who were touched by it. His many ''random acts of kindness'' were felt by many, but probably most especially by his loving mom. The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Monday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville with a memorial service to follow at 2 PM. Pastor Brent Freeman officiating.
