James Oliver ''Jim'' Coar

James “Jim” Oliver Coar, age 75 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, September 22, 2006. He was a member of Voice of Victory Full Gospel Church and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Meritta Coar, brother Robert Coar, and sister Carolyn Manza. Survivors: Wife: Frances Alsdorf Coar Children: Regina Underwood, James Coar and wife Harriet, Cheryl Johnson and husband Terry, Tammy Calvert and husband Dan, Laura Deal and husband Mark, Troy Coar and wife Sharon, Douglas Coar and wife Loretta Seventeen grandchildren Three great-grandchildren Brother: Kenneth Coar Numerous nieces and nephews Brothers-in-law: Hezekiah Alsdorf and fiancée Esther, Kenneth Alsdorf and wife Jennifer, William Alsdorf and wife Ernestine Sisters-in-law: Donna Coddington and husband Bruce, Sarah Huddleston, LeeRoy Gonzalez and husband Carlos Special friends: Leonard and Peggy Schubert, Curtis Manning Funeral service 7 PM Sunday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Curtis Manning, Pastor Ronnie Richmond, and Brother Leonard Schubert officiating.
