Rose Smith

Smith, Rose Aileen, age 74, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006. She was a member of Seymour United Methodist Church where she served in the Nursery for over 22 years. She retired from KUB after 35 years of service. Preceded in death by husbands, Calvin L. Thompson and Harvey T. Smith, Jr.; parents, Oscar and Goldie Wilburn; sister, Nelmor Jacque Elmore; brothers, Burt Moyers and Billy Wilburn. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Robert Dominy; niece, Elaine Haworth; great-nieces, Lori Wright and Kelly Love. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday with the funeral to follow at 8:00 PM in the stateroom of Berry Funeral Home, Rev. Rae Mullins and Rev. Jason Roe officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 9:45 AM Thursday for a 10:00 AM interment service.
