Services for Mrs Sharon Kay (Hurst) Whited will be held, September 17, 2006, at 02:00 PM at the following locations: Highland Memorial Parks 5315 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919 (865) 588-0567 Sharon Kay (Hurst) Whited, age 59, entered the Promised Land on September 14, 2006. Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who spent much of her life taking care of others and making everyone around her feel special. Sharon was a member of West Park Baptist Church. She worked for Emerson Process Management, CSI Division for 10 years with many special and loving friends. She attended the same aerobics class with Elizabeth Lee for 25 years. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey J. Hurst, Sr. and Gladys Calloway Hurst. Surviving relatives include the love of her life for 38 years, Robert D. Whited, son and daughter-in-law Matthew and Michelle Whited, grandson Robert Joshua Whited, and granddaughter Haley Michelle Whited (to be born in January 2007), twin sister Karen Graves, and brother Aubrey J. Hurst, Jr. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at Highland Memorial Funeral Home in Bearden on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2 P.M.
