Griffith, Catherine Elaine Hill, age 50, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 6, 2006. She was a secretary at TVA for 26 years. Preceded in death by parents, Virgil Allen Hill and Martha Edna Hill; brother, Carles Hill. Survived by son, Christopher A. Griffith; brother, Joe Hill; sisters, Ruth Caughorn, Mary Howard, and Delories Martin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Curtis Green officiating. Family and friends will meet at Zions Chapel Church Cemetery on Friday for 2 PM interment services. Son, Christopher A.
