Bates Gibson, Jr., age 79 of Sevierville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2006. He was preceded in death by his infant son Daniel Mark; mother and father, Edna and Bates Gibson, Sr. Survivors: Wife: Eunave Gibson Sons and daughters-in-law: Xan and Sarah Gibson, Steve and Kathy Gibson, and Hank Gibson Daughters and son-in-law: Lori Gibson, Geraldine and Earnie McGill Grandchildren: Tammie, Chad, Jason, Jeff, Jody, Jamie, Julie, Joanie, Josh, Will, Sandy, Billy Eight great-grandchildren Brothers and sisters: Homer, Buddy, Joe, Edith and Nell Funeral service 7 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Haskel Franklin and Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Pleasant Hill Cemetery for interment.
