John Carl ''Radio'' Harris

John Carl (Radio) Harris, age 78 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006, at his home. Mr. Harris was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired from Cherokee Textile Mills after 48 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Hazel and Vesta Mae (Craig) Harris and brother Eugene Harris. Survivors: Wife: Edith Harris Children: James Carl Harris, Becky Dunn and husband Danny, Jackie Wayne Harris Grandchildren: Tiffany M. Dunn and fiancé Paul Hunt, Wesley Tyler Harris Brothers and sisters-in-law: James Lloyd and Ramona Harris, Charles and Annette Harris Sister: Barbara Harris Very close neighbors and friends: Harold and Sue Jensen, Paul and Ruth Galyon Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Saturday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel in Pigeon Forge with Rev. Curtis Wells officiating. Interment 1:30 PM Sunday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens.
