Acuff, Maruche Katherine Legg Solomon ?age 100, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2006. Member of Glenwood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husbands, Dolphus Legg, Carl Solomon and Ewing Acuff; daughters, Ruby, Stella, Bernice and Paulette; three brothers and three sisters. Survived by daughters, Edna Tipton and husband, Luther, Bonnie Hill, and Mary Faye Rhodes; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Bessie Pickett; a multitude of other family members. Family and friends will meet at Mount Olive Cemetery on Thursday for 2 PM graveside services, Wayne Wood officiating. Friends may call at their convenience on Thursday from 8:30-12:30 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
