Horace Archer

Horace S. Archer (Archie) (KK) 70, of Knoxville went home to be with his Lord on May 10, 2006 after a long illness. He was a member of the Wallace Memorial Baptist Church and Stretcher Bearers Sunday School class. Preceded in death by parents, Kiley and Vina Archer; and his brother, David. Survived by wife of 51 years, Mae Archer; children and spouses, Kathy and Ray Riley, Leon and Cindy Archer, and Jerry Archer; grandchildren, Kim and Barry Busler, Chris and Kellye Archer, Laura and Chris Martin, Jennifer Riley, and Kelly Archer; great grandchild Kathryn Elizabeth Busler; brothers and sister, Paris and wife Ethel Archer, Carson and wife Revana Archer, Verlin and wife Mary Ann Cabbage, and Betty and husband Tony Jessing; several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday with the funeral to follow at 8:00PM in the Chapel with Rev. Kent Williams and Dr. Miles Boyd officiating. Interment 2:00PM Sunday at Lynnhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation of East Tennessee, 4450 Walker Blvd. Suite 2, Knoxville, TN 37917.
