Robert Whaley, age 80, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2006. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Commodore Whaley and Emma Bohanan Whaley, sister, Juletty Branch, brothers James Whaley and Austin Whaley Survivors: Sister: Geneva Lewelling and husband Billy Brother: Glenn Whaley and wife Nancy Sister-in-law: Ruth Whaley Several nieces and nephews Aunts: Martha Bohanan, and Ann Trotter Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Dallas Gibson and Rev. Wayne Ownby officiating. Interment 2 PM Thursday in Providence Cemetery.
