Napier, Edmond Lee ?age 76, of South Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday night, May 3, 2006. He was the owner and operator of Napier Small Engines on Chapman Highway for many years. Preceded in death by son, James Edward Napier; parents, E.H. and Sallie Napier; brother, Jack Napier; sisters, Virginia Ann and Grovine Napier; sister-in-law, Jean Latham. Survivors include wife of 44 years, Evelyn Napier; daughters, Susan Pickel and husband, Rick; Rose Ann Napier; sons, Donnie Napier and wife, Susie; David Napier and wife, Julie; stepson, Dennis Suttles; mother of his children, Betty Napier; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Billy Latham; sister-in-law, Wanda Arrowood and husband, Lloyd; special nephew, Andy Arrowood; and special niece, Iva Jean Massey. A special thank you to Dr. Richard Mays and Dr. Clint Dorian for their care. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM, Rev. Clarence Gresham officiating. Family and friends will meet at Highland South Memorial Park on Sunday for 3:30 PM graveside services.
