Ruth Evelina Bolin Mize

Ruth Evelina Bolin Mize, age 71, of Seymour formerly of Strawberry Plains, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Mize in February 2005. He was her soul mate and love of her life. Her first husband Farnum “Coot” Bolin died October 1973, also in heaven are her parents Frank and Minnie Cannon, brothers, Roy Cannon, Hershal Cannon, and baby William, sisters, Mariah Hensley, Margaret Elwood, and Juanita Faulkner. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother. She leaves her: Children: Carolyn Mize Blaylock of New York, Kenneth Mize of Strawberry Plains, Carolyn Dosset of New Market, Beatrice Fletcher of Luttrell, Toni Litton of Seymour, and Kathy Collins of New Market. She dearly loved her brothers and sister, leaving behind her brother Reverend Frank Cannon and sister Francis Blair both of Strawberry Plains 15 grandchildren 14 Great-grandchildren Her beloved grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. The family extends special thanks and gratitude to U.T. Hospice, her nurse Carolyn, and U.T. Cancer Institute. Funeral Service 8 PM Wednesday, in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Tommy Bellamy, Rev. Jack Cook officiating. Her brother Rev. Frank Cannon is the honorary clergy. Interment 11 Am Thursday in Highland South Cemetery.
