John E. Tipton

Tipton, John E. ?Cotton? ?age 67, of South Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2006. Retired from Furniture Sales Company in Seymour. He coached many softball and basketball teams in the Kimberlin Heights Community. Survived by former wife, Ruby Myers Tipton; son and daughter-in-law, Richie and Rita Tipton; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Robin Beeler; daughter, Robin Tipton; grandchildren, Ricky, Ryan and Rileigh Tipton; Brittany and Ian Hurst and Jessica Smith; great-grandchildren, Derreck Hurst, Dashawn and Kevon Smith; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Seven Islands Cemetery on Wednesday for 11 AM graveside services, Brother Kenneth Lacy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
