Bill Holman Jr.

Bill Holman, Jr., age 61 of South Knoxville, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2006. Bill was known as a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bill devoted his life and actions to Jesus Christ, where he led his life by example to his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. Bill had a gift of carpentry and excelled in this field for the majority of his life. His parents Bill Sr. and Ramah Holman and brothers Stan Holman and Garland Holman preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Catherine, his four children, Melony Hannah and husband Mike of Oroville, California, Darrin Holman and wife Jessica of Knoxville, Dawn Holm and husband Nathan of Knoxville and Karen Higgins and husband Scott of Knoxville; sister Peggy Castor of Desert Center, California, and brother Duane Holman of Phoenix, Arizona. Bill Holman was blessed with seven grandchildren, Marissa Hannah, Megan Hannah, Billy Holman, Maddy Holman, Charlie Holman, Kayla Holm and Nolan Holm. Bill Holman will be missed by anyone who knew him. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at 12 PM in Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. David Harkins officiating.
