Elizabeth Lane

Elizabeth Vaughn Lane, age 81 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at St. Mary?s Residential Hospice . She was a member of Fountain City United Methodist Church and worked for 30 years at the University of Tennessee on the Agriculture Campus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lane; parents, Anna and William Jefferson Vaughn. Survived by two sons, Mike and wife Theresa Love of Flint, MI, and Ronald Love of El Reno, OK; grandchildren, Jeanne Anne Partipelo of Indiana, Tom Rains of Atlanta; two great grandchildren, Brian and Hana Partipelo; sister and brother-in-law, Anna Mae and Gerald Bellamy of Knoxville; nieces, Linda Johnson of Knoxville, Carol Trentham of Clinton, and Leah Cross of Houston, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Friday with funeral service at 7:30 PM at Fountain City United Methodist Church with Rev. James Whedbee, Rev. Don Hanshew, and Rev. Melissa Smith, and Mr. John Needy officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery Saturday at 1:00PM for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Library fund at Fountain City United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
