Robert Earl Cardwell

Robert Earl Cardwell, age 64, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2006. He attended the Full Gospel Church in Sevierville and was employed for 17 years as a reserve officer for the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department. He was preceded in death by parents Earley Franklin (E.F.) and Mattie Mae Cardwell, brothers Junior and Douglas Cardwell, brothers-in-law Newton Cook and J.E. Cothran, and parents-in-law Rueben and Mary Hatcher. Survivors: Wife of 43 years: Linda Gail Hatcher Cardwell Sons and daughters-in-law: Bobby and Amy Cardwell, Terry and Shannon Cardwell, Bear and Michelle Pennington Daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and Robbie Walker, Terisa and Ryan Hall Grandchildren: Crystal, Kevin, Wendy, Mindy, Justin, Chelsea, Ryan Jr., Donald, Nick Kaylie, Cadence Great-grandchildren: Wade, Logan, Austin, Haliey Brother: Huey Cardwell Sisters and brothers-in-law: Myrtice Cook, Lessiebe Cothran, Bonnie Williams, Betty and Buddy Westmoreland, Dianne and Alton Ray Williams In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to benefit the family. Funeral service 12 noon Saturday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Interment will follow in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens.
