Roy McKinley Cole, age 80 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of McMahan Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Cole, parents Callie and Joe Cole, brothers, Kyle Cole, Sr., Carroll Cole, John Huskey, and Bruce Huskey, sisters Louise Carol and Nell Cole, and mother-in-law Nola Rebecca Ownby. Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law: Angie and Rick Welch, Linda and Lee Futch, Debby and Charlie Riddle Sons: R. L. Matthews, Jack Matthews, and Larry Matthews Grandchildren: Kathy, Becky and Jessica Wells, Ricky and Timmy Sutton, Jackie, Amy, and Audrey Matthews, Jody Snyder, David McGill, Kimberly Riddle Great-grandchildren: Ashley, Megan, Cassidy, McKinley, Keona, Trista, Karlie, Kylie, Aubrianna, Macey, Madison, Keegan, Melody, and Zachery Brother and sister-in-law: Joe and Lou Cole Sister: Alice Owensby Extended family members and special friends: Ray Williams, Martin Ramsey, Lib Bates, Diane Trotter, Karen Baker and many others Funeral service 10 AM Saturday at McMahan Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Williams and Rev. Sonny Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
