Ella Ree Bounds

Bounds, Ella Ree Johnson, 86, passed away from complications of heart failure at the Greenville Memorial Hospital, in Greenville, SC, on Saturday, June 3, 2006. She was a 1938 graduate of Knoxville High School in Tennessee and a former employee of Southern Extract, the Extension Office of The University of Tennessee, and TVA. For the past two years she had been an active member of the Bayberry Retirement Community in Greer, SC, where her lifelong talents on the piano were regularly demonstrated at social gatherings and church services. Ella Ree was preceded in death in 1990 by her husband of 37 years, T. Gordan Bounds - teacher and residential contractor -and in 2003 by her son Jim Bell - businessman of Athens, TN. She is survived by her sons Larry Bounds and his wife Carole Crystal of Greer, SC, and John Bounds and his wife Chris of Los Alamos, NM; her beloved niece Mary Louise Hayes of Maynardville, TN; as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who knew her affectionately as Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM Tuesday for graveside services.
