Maxine P. Norton

Norton, Maxine P., age 76, passed away suddenly June 2, 2006. She was a graduate of Young High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bessie Pollard and brother, Bob Pollard. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Edward F. Norton; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Jacque Norton; son, John Norton; grandchildren Jennifer and Jack Norton; niece and nephews, Joy Lynn, Jody, and Jim Bo Pollard. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 AM for graveside services, Rev. Bobby Tucker of Valley Grove Baptist Church and Rev. Charlie McNutt of Sevier Heights Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be sent to Valley Grove Baptist Church, 9000 Sevierville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
