Geneva N. (Granny) Covington

Geneva N. Manis (Granny) Covington, age 91, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Life Care of Ridgeview Terrace in Rutledge, TN. She was a member of Kimberlain Heights Church of God and was retired after 20 years of service from Baptist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, David (Earl) Covington, Children; Marie Clark, Holbert E. Covington, James Leroy Covington, and Myrtle Ann Covington Survivors: Children; Kathleen Howard Mamie Carrigg Robert (Wayne) Covington and wife Fran Mary Alice Vineyard Tommy Covington and wife Carolyn Gordon Covington and wife Linda Chucky Charles Covington and wife Sherry 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Pastor Becky McMillian and Rev. Bud Roberts officiating.
