Ruby S. Nelson

Nelson, Ruby S. ?age 80, of South Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at NHC Ft. Sanders. She was a member of South Knoxville Baptist Church. Ruby was past Matron of the Eastern Star and worked at the Vogue Dress Shop on Market Square for several years and UT Agricultural Campus in the Dairy Extension. She is survived by husband of 59 years, Russell C. Nelson; son and daughter-in-law, Russell L. and Donna Nelson; daughter and son-in-law, Delores Jean and Gary Spangler; grandchildren, Stacy Spangler, Betsy Sloan, Caroline Goldasich, Will Nelson; great-grandchildren, Brennan and Cameron Ellis; sisters, Agnes Nelson, Jane Britt, Helen Siddens; brothers, Jerry and Tom Smith. Special thanks to the staff at NHC Ft. Sanders Nursing Home. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery on Thursday for 2 PM graveside services, Charles Justice officiating.
