Doris Jeanne McCroskey

Doris Jeanne McCroskey, age 67 of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Asbury Place. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Iris Tarwater McCroskey. Survivors: Stepmother: Lillian McCroskey has been a loving mother for 60 years Sisters: Elizabeth Romines of GA, Eleanor King of Seymour, TN , Sandra Hood, Kathy Dalton, of Seymour Brothers: Bill McCroskey, Jr., of Sevierville, Eddie McCroskey, Jeff McCroskey, of Seymour Special friend: Dylan Palmer, who came every week to read to her Several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, Building Fund. Funeral service 7:30 PM Thursday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Tom Robins officiating. Interment 2 PM Friday in Alder Branch Cemetery.
