Dorothy Travis

Dorothy L. Travis, age 73 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday January 18, 2006 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Retired employee of John Owenby Company. Preceded in death by her son, John Travis; granddaughters, Karen Broadwater Alicia Travis; and parents, John and Derrell Yasko. Survived by daughters, June Riggs of Athens, TN, Vickie Dyer and husband Gary of Knoxville, Kay Standridge and husband Dave of Dickson, TN, and Cindy Rushing and husband Wayne of Dover, TN; sons, Steven Campbell and wife Jean of McEwen, TN, and Alex Travis of Knoxville; grandchildren, Ryon Travis, Alissa Travis, Liam Travis, Amanda Dyer, Melissa Cole, David Broadwater, Dawn Scharff, Kimberly Scharff, Daniel Little, Christopher Campbell, Austin Travis and Blake Travis; great grandchildren, Stormi Standridge, Heather Perez, Bobby Bear, Brent Cole, Eli and Caleb Little, Jaden and Maya Roberts; great-great grandchildren, Brionna Perez; brothers, Kenny Colburn, Eddie Colburn, Ted Yasko and Tommy Yasko; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Charlie Ballard, Rev. Howard Hurst, and Rev. Dean Braden officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM Sunday at New Gray Cemetery for interment service. Pallbearers are Rev. Charlie Reynolds, Kenny McCroskey, John Sherrod, Rev. John Greene, Jason Turner, Daniel Little, Christopher Campbell, and Rev. Dean Braden.
