Lonnie Corum Kline, Sr.

Kline, Sr., Lonnie Corum?age 76, of South Knoxville, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 10, 2006. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church and served with the United States Army during the Korean War. Preceded in death by parents, Mack and Cora Berry Kline; brothers, Little Pete and William Kline; sisters, Jeanette Mynatt and Helen Latham. Survived by wife of 53 years, Mary Helen Woods Kline; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Lawson-Olson and Brion Olson, Connie and Steve Lunsford, Kathy and Bill Yoder; sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie C. Kline, Jr. and Ginger, Mark and Melissa Kline; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, who loved and adored their Papaw and to him there was nothing like them. His family was his life. He is also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Mae and Julian Weaver, Mary and Harold Owens and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Larry Woods and Rev. Jimmy Woods officiating. Family and friends will meet at Roseberry Cemetery on Friday for 11 AM interment services.
