Mary Emaline Parrish Palmer

Palmer, Mary Emaline Parrish ? age 91, of Knoxville, who was the last charter member of Sevier Home Baptist Church, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2006. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Lee (Ott) Palmer; parents, John and Mattie Parrish; brother, Johnny Parrish; sister, Vanice and Jim Troutman; grandson, Donald Wayne Shown; and son-in-law, Boyd Wilson. Survived by children, Sandra Seals; Elizabeth Wilson; Mildred and Bill Norton; Frances and Joe Brooks; Jay and Elaine Palmer; Sam and Rachel Palmer; Jerry and Nancy Palmer; Lynn and Sandi Palmer; Sheila and Mark Boling; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Harvey and Helen Parrish; Nessie and Betty Parrish; sister-in-law, Maggie Parrish; brother and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her friends, family and neighbors. A special thank you to Brakebill Nursing Home, especially Dr. Pearman and Gena. Funeral services will be held 1 PM on Thursday, Berry Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Francis officiating. Interment will follow at Highland South Cemetery. Mary will be honored by pallbearers of grandsons and special friends. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM on Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
