Ora Wesley McMahan

Ora Wesley McMahan, born June 15, 1923, died peacefully at age 82 on Monday morning, February 20, 2006, at Sevier County Health Care Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army, being discharged in 1944. Ora was a member of Wrights Ferry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents Allen and Gertie McMahan, sons John and Steve McMahan, grandsons Wesley Finchum and Johnny Rex McMahan, sister Lois Patterson, brothers Ray, Robert, Otha, Elmer, Frank, and Ralph McMahan, and the mother of his children Mable Ogle McMahan. He leaves behind his: Children and their spouses: Ruby and Dotsy Ogle, Mary and Kenneth Finchum, Ray McMahan, Rex and Nedra McMahan, Pat and Clay Sutton, Katie McMahan, Bill and Juanita McMahan 13 Grandchildren 18 Great-grandchildren 1 Great-great-grandchild Brothers and sisters-in-law: Homer and Jessy McMahan, Walter and Phyllis McMahan A host of nieces, nephews, and friends Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev.
