Lucian Wynns

Wynns, L. P., age 78, formerly of Knoxville and resident of Franklin, TN, passed away February 11, 2006. Mr. Wynns was a devoted Christian and member of Brentwood Baptist Church and former member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and usher. He was retired from Martin Marietta in Oak Ridge, and a member of Faith Lodge #756 in Oak Ridge. Survived by loving wife of 55 years Dena, son David Wynns of Knoxville, daughter Linda Wynns Burns, son-in-law Gary Burns of Franklin, and sister Sue Ann Wynns Cowell of Paris, TN. Three beautiful grandchildren, Ashlyn Wynns of Knoxville and Morgan and Matthew Burns of Franklin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church with the funeral to follow at 8 pm Monday. Dr. Jim McCluskey and Rev. Kent Williams will be officiating. Interment 11 am Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Orion Armbrister, Bob Bringle, Kenneth Cowell, Joe Fortner, Ronnie Hale, and Arthur McKenzie.
