Mildred Pinkston

Pinkston, Mildred Atchley, age 90, of South Knoxville passed away at Baptist Hospital on Friday, December 29, 2006. Mildred was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Retired owner of Pinkston Grocery on Middlebrook Pike. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Pinkston, Sr.; daughter, Joni Nine; son, Howard Pinkston and granddaughter, Lisa Pinkston. Survivors include daughter, Barbara Pinkston; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Dorothy Pinkston; daughter-in-law, Libby Pinkston; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends will meet Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
