William Seward

Seward, William H. age 81, of North Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday December 27, 2006 at St. Mary?s Hospital. Bill was born on October 20, 1925 to Thomas LeRoy and Elna Mae Seward in Craig County OK and was raised in Miami, OK. He moved to New Mexico, Utah, and then in 1993 moved to Knoxville. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, and was a veteran of WWII serving in Alaska in Radio Communications and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 32 years of service as an Air Traffic Controller. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Seward; daughters, Peggy Seward and husband, David Reisinger of Los Lunas, NM, Carla Dykes and husband Cris of Rio Rancho, NM, Sherrie Finstad and husband Wayne of Knoxville; sons, Bill Seward of Utah, and Darrel Young and fianc?e? Kelli Hurst of Knoxville; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy and husband Joe Howard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will meet Monday at 11:00 AM at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a graveside service with Bishop Steven Cupp officiating, Military Honors will be provided by Veterans United Honor Guard. Arrangements made by Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr.
