Nellie M. Lowe

Lowe, Nellie M. ?age 88, of South Knoxville, went into the comfort and peace of her Heavenly Father after many years of pain on Tuesday, December 26, 2006. She was a member of Central Point Baptist Church in Rockford. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Nancy Ward; daughter, Austene Collette; brothers, Herb, Alvin, Roy and Paul; sisters, Lora, Alma and Helen. Survived by husband, Sohmer M. Lowe; daughters, Marian (Bob) Whyte of Dillon, Colorado, Doris (Tom) Pressley of Kingsport, Tennessee; son, Rodger (Diane) Lowe of Knoxville, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Blain of Knoxville and Ralph of Florida; sisters, Jessie Hines of Rockford, Tennessee and Flora Hedrick of Knoxville, Tennessee; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-6:30 PM Wednesday at Central Point Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM. Family and friends will meet at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday for 10 AM interment services.
