Maples, Ruth Ann Moore Carringer ?age 88, of South Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Hillcrest West Nursing Home. She attended Gayland Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by first husband, Len Carringer; second husband, Ed Maples; son, Raymond ?Rags? Carringer; granddaughter, Renee Carringer; parents, Robert and Theo Moore; brothers, Robert Jr., Vernon, Ralph ?Duck?, Bill and Tom Moore; sister, Edith Hendrix. Survivors include sons, Jim and wife, Linda Carringer, Don and wife, Linda Carringer, Jack and wife, Gayla Carringer; grandchildren, Tracy and husband, Mike Woods, Linda and husband, Mike Cole, Karen and husband, Tagge Stroom, Ashley Carringer, Jason Carringer, Jill and husband, Eric Mitchell, Keith Carringer, Kelly and husband, Monte Daniel, Kristi Latimore; several great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Moyers and husband Ed; sisters-in-law, Francis Moore, Joyce Moore and Elsie Moore; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, Berry Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
