Preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Beene-Raye, and his brother, Shaun Beene. Survivors: wife, Michelle West of Knoxville; mother, Betty Beene of Georgia; special aunt and uncle, Mary and Bobby Moore of Corryton; daughter, Alisha West, Knoxville; sons, Eugene West of Grainger County and Josh West of Knoxville; step-daughter, Donna Mase; step-sons, Chase Mase and Michael Cooper; brothers, Steve West of Georgia, and John Beene of Knoxville; 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters; extended family: mother and father-in-law, David and Janice Borden. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Highland Memorial Chapel, services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Jimmy Connatser officiating. Interment and committal services Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery with military rites provided by Volunteer State Honor Guard.
