Arthur Burnett

Burnett, Jr., Arthur ?Art? Lemuel ?age 46, of South Knoxville, formerly of Sevierville, left this earth after a battle with cancer to spend eternity in his Heavenly home on Thursday evening, December 21, 2006, while surrounded by those closest to him, his family. He was a dedicated member of Voice of Victory Full Gospel Church. Art was a longtime umpire with the Sevierville Little League. He had a love for horses and enjoyed taking his grandchildren to horse shows. Preceded in death by parents, Arthur Lemuel Burnett, Sr. and Iona Mae Ward Burnett. He had a special love for his wife and each of his children. He is survived by wife, Tina Burnett; children, Sarah Bevins; Brandi Hurst and Daniel; Jeremi Webb and Krystle; grandchildren, Emily Long; Faith, Triston and Xavier Hurst; dearly loved sisters, Zetta Stout and Sam; Barbara Chesney; Brenda Kerley and Rick. He also leaves behind special aunt, Beaulah Raney; Julie Buckner; Kathleen Wells; Aliene Lane; Deloris Ward and Linda Lewis. A special thank you to Pat Hungate of Covenant Hospice; Dr. Daniel Ibach and staff at Thompson Cancer Survival Center; and to all the special friends and family that have been here for him. Funeral service will be held 1 PM Sunday, Berry Chapel, with Pastor Curtis Manning and Pastor Ronnie Richmond officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
