Vivian McMahan Stevens

Vivian McMahan Stevens, age 62 of Morganton, North Carolina died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Valdese General Hospital after a period of declining health. Mrs. Stevens was born September 20, 1944 in Sevier County to the late Mell C. and Margaret Schultz McMahan. She was retired as a nurse from Broughton Hospital after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Howard McMahan. Survivors: Husband: Charles F. Stevens Daughter and Son-in-law: Connie and Eric Icard Granddaughter: Erica Icard Sister: Andrea McMahan In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Burke, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, North Carolina 28690. Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Ball officiating. Interment will follow in the McMahan Family Cemetery.
