Ralph A. Burnett, age 86 of Seymour, passed away Friday, December 15, 2006. He was a retired minister, a WWII Army Veteran having been a prisoner of war in Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Burnett, son, Billy Burnette, parents, Joseph and Ethel Burnett, brother, Charlie Burnett, sister, Edna Headrick. Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law: Charles Burnette and wife Linda Grandsons: Kenneth Burnette and wife Pam, and Jerry Burnette Granddaughters: Adra Rowland and husband Jimi, and Heather Maples Great-grandchildren: McKenzie and Macy Burnette, Bo and Ellie Kate Rowland Special nephew: Tommy Drinnen Special friend: Lu Best Numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews Graveside service 2 PM Monday in Boyd’s Creek Cemetery. Military Honors Provided by American Legion Post 104. The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865 (577-2807).
