Blake Austin Newman, the 12 week old son of Lora A. Whitehead and Michael E. Newman, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2006. He was preceded in death by great-great grandparents, Gertrude and Doris Woodard; great grandfather, Billy Dale Whitehead; great uncle, Bobby Ford Survivors in addition to the parents are: Grandparents: Tammy and Allen Phillips, Billy Dale Whitehead, II and Mary Jane Underwood, Donald J. and Christina Newman Great Grandparents: Helen Ford, Joe and Betty Meyers, Elizabeth Schilling Great-Great Grandmother: Azalee Roberts Aunts and Uncles: Grattan Phillips, Cheyenna Whitehead, Traci Phillips, Mark and Michelle Newman, Stacy and Jeff Newman, Dallas Keith A great many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends Funeral service 1 PM Friday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home.
