Weldon C. Beasley, Sr.

Weldon C. Beasley, Sr., age 78 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2005. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and worked at Cherokee Textile Mills for 37 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife: Ellen Beasley Son: Weldon C. Beasley, Jr., Dennis Ray Beasley and wife Debbie Daughter: Donna Ellen Beasley and fiancé Tom Spaulding Grandchildren: Jennifer Denise Brock and husband Alan, Justin Dennis Beasley, Stephine Ann Beasley Sisters: Hazel Ayers, Lura Melton and husband Paul Brothers: Coolidge Beasley, Richard Beasley and wife Shelby Extended family, including: Billy and Lura Jenkins and Melvin and Peggy Hall Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Parton officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Thursday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for interment. Military honors provided by American Legion Post #104.
