Mamie Belle Lewis

Mamie Belle Lewis, age 90 of Sevier County, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 22, 2005. She was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Annie Hardin; brothers Otis, T.C., Edward and Esco Hardin; sister Arlecy Laughter; husband General Lee Lewis; sons Clay Edward Lewis and General Lee (Beak) Lewis, Jr., son-in-law David Blalock. Survivors: Daughters: Louise Ogle and husband Junior, Jeanette Edwards, Norma Carr and husband Jim, Betty Blalock Son: Bill Lewis and wife Jan Daughter-in-law: Peggy Lewis Twenty-three grandchildren Forty-eight great-grandchildren Five great-great-grandchildren Brothers: Luke Hardin and wife Mamie, L.B. Hardin and wife Carol Sisters-in-law: Dora Smith and Inez Lewis Brother-in-law: Charley Lewis Many nieces and nephews Funeral service 8 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Price officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 AM Saturday in Resthaven Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
