Billy Boyd Holbert

Holbert, Billy Boyd, age 66, of Kimberlin Heights, passed away November 12, 2005 at his home. He was a 32nd Degree mason, member of Masters Lodge # 244 F & A.M., Scottish Rite, and member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. Billy worked for Beaty Chevrolet for 17 years, later taught at South Young High School as the auto body instructor and retired from teaching at South-Doyle High School. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Marie Holbert, special mother-in-law, Ruth Brown. Survivors: wife of 47 years, Sylvia Holbert; children Hal and wife Karen Holbert; Janice and husband Danny Clifton; Mark and wife Jodi Holbert; and Jana and husband Mark Tucker. 10 Grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Heather, Jacob, Brandon, Allen, Alex, Adam, Kelsey and Kenzey. 2 Great Grandchildren Cody and Abbie. Sister, Peggy Stanley; Brother, Fred Holbert; and many other loved ones and friends. Masonic services will be held by Masters Lodge # 244 F. & A.M. 8 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home. Funeral services to follow with Rev. Jerry Veech officiating. Interment 1 P.M. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
