Iris Faye Simmons

Iris Faye Simmons, age 61 of Sevierville, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 12, 2005. Faye Simmons was born on May 19, 1944 in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her father, Iris L. Nichols. Survivors: Husband of nearly 44 years: N. Wayne Simmons Her Beloved Sons: David W. Simmons and wife Natalie Weston E. Simmons and wife Amanda all of Mississippi Her Wonderful Grandchildren: Brittany Trout and husband Nelson of Kentucky Victoria Simmons of Mississippi Tamala Williams and husband Randy of Kentucky Holleigh Smith and husband Billy of North Carolina Jordan Simmons Ian Simmons Whitney Simmons all of Mississippi Very Special Great Grandchildren: Dylan Trout Ashton Williams both of Kentucky Mother and Step-Father: Bea and Bill Sheffield Sister: Jean Altese and husband Gregg Brother: Linny Nichols and wife Carolyn all of Mississippi Nieces, nephews, and many loving friends In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Interment 10 AM Tuesday in Middle Creek cemetery with Rev. Jerry Hyder officiating.
