Ida Walker Welch

Ida Walker Welch, 91, of Powell passed away Saturday November 5, 2005. She was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Powell. She was the matriarch of the family. Preceded in death by her husband: Herbert Welch; brothers: Dal, Billy Joe, and Hal Walker; sisters; Juanita Lehane and Inez Smelser. Survivors: Sisters; Trula Cannon of Sevierville Frankie Webb of Knoxville Pearl LeSueur and husband Jim of Knoxville Several nieces and nephews including Belva Walker Smith and Bertie Lou Cruze Funeral service 7 PM Monday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Earl Lane and Rev. David Stooksbury officiating. Interment 11 AM Tuesday in Fairgarden Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville.
