Kala Elizabeth Hawkins

Kala Elizabeth Hawkins, age 13 of Kodak, the precious daughter of Chris and Tammy Hawkins, went home Thursday, November 3, 2005 to be with Jesus after a battle with leukemia. Kala was a faithful member of Beech Springs Baptist Church. She attended Northview Middle School where she was an honor student, member of the Beta Club and Basketball team. The family greatly acknowledges and appreciates the love and support of friends from the church, The Knoxville News-Sentinel, Northview Middle School, Beta Club and Basketball team, the staff of Children’s Hospital, and the Hematology Clinic. Funeral service 6 PM Saturday at Beech Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Stinnett and Rev. Gary Addington officiating. Interment 3 PM Sunday in Beech Springs Cemetery.
