Victor Boyd Rogers

Victor Boyd Rogers, age 89, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2005. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Seymour and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Victor and Ada Grove Rogers, brothers, Paul and Fred Rogers. Survivors: Wife of 68 years: Irene Tarwater Rogers Sons and Daughters-in-law: William Robert and Martha Rogers James Tarwater and Nancy Rogers, Sr. Grandchildren: Ginger Sexton and husband Ricky Jamie Rogers Phil Rogers and wife Amy Amanda Rogers Great Grandhildren: Taylor and Tyler Weaver Emma, Grace, Jayde and Ethan Rogers Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Mary and Glen Pendley Ruth and Johnnie Brewer Special Niece: Jan Weaver, who cared for him during his final sickness The family wishes to express their special thanks to Baptist Home Health Care. Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Yates and Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Interment 10 AM Thursday in Chilhowee Cemetery.
