“Papaw” Lem L. England, age 83, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005. He was a decorated veteran and POW of WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents John Harrison and Cora England, sister Martha Lowe, brothers Stanley, J.R. and Julus England, and grandson Curtis Wilkins. Survivors: Wife: Arleane England Daughters: Kay Thomas, Joe Ann Baker, Charolet Graham Son: Billy Joe England Special daughter/niece: Wanda Faye Clabo 13 Grandchildren 14 Great-grandchildren Sisters: Iva Phillips, Lucy Ogle and husband Harold Sister-in-law: Arzetta England Numerous nieces and nephews Special thanks to James Greer and the caregivers at Mountain Brook Village and the wonderful people at the Masonic Homes of Kentucky. Funeral service 6 PM Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 1 PM Sunday in Zion Hill Cemetery with military honors.
