James T. Howe

HOWE, JAMES T., age 85 of Knoxville, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2005. James was born in Jacksonville Fla. and graduated from Duke University with an Engineering degree. He retired from Oak Ridge National Lab with 35 years of service. James enjoyed square dancing and was a member of Grand Squares and Knoxville Squares. Preceded in death by former wives Erma Stephens Howe and Marrie Smith Howe. Survivors include loving wife, Clara Howe; son and daughter in law, Tyler and Penny Howe of Knoxville, son Bill Howe of Oak Ridge; step son, Jimmy Ramsey and wife Rena of Knoxville; brother, Ted Howe and wife Peggy of Raliegh NC and nephews. Family and friends will meet Thursday at the main entrance of Lynnhurst Cemetery and will proceed to the grave for a 10:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Mike Segars officiating.
