Billie Berrier

Billie Berrier, age 77, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005. He retired after 50 years of service with Norfolk-Southern Railroad. Billie was a member of Oak City Baptist Church and an Air Force Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Nova Hicks Berrier, and sister Joy Rhea Smith. Survivors: Wife: Betty Reed Berrier Sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Sue Berrier, Mike and Linda Berrier, Billy Wayne Berrier Grandchildren: Marty Berrier and wife Chrissy, Brandon Berrier Brother: Rev. Roy Berrier Brother-in-law: Elmer Smith Sister-in-law: Ruby Manning Several nieces and nephews Funeral Service 7 PM Thursday, in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Roy Berrier officiating and eulogy by Mr. Henry McKinney. Interment 11 AM Friday in Boyd’s Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Buster Spurgeon, Bobby Spurgeon, Grover Cowan, Bob Gibson, Marcus Finchum, Justin Finchum, and Honorary Pallbearer, Jimmy Spurgeon. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865 577-2807 (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
